Orders & Payments

Yes, sales tax is charged based on your location. In provinces with a blended HST, the local HST rate for hair accessories will be charged. In other provinces, the rate of sales tax is determined by a number of factors.

If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, contact us so we can investigate and correct any issues.

You can always login to your Scrunch It Up account to check your order status. If your order status is …

  • Processing – we haven’t packed it up and dropped it off yet but we have it and we’re working on it. Processing usually takes a day or two. If we encounter a stock issue, there might be a delay of an additional day or two.
  • Completed – your order has been picked, checked, photographed, and dropped off for shipping. You should have received an email with your tracking information.
  • If your order is showing a different status message, get in touch for more information.

We accept all major credit cards. Credit card transactions are processed securely with world-class security by Stripe.

We hope to accept Interac Online as a payment method by summer.

Quality & Care

Most of our scrunchies are durable and machine washable. There are exceptions.

Each scrunchie includes a product wrapper that provides product-specific care instructions.

We encourage you to follow the instructions provided if you do not have the instructions, contact us for more information.

We currently offer three sizes of scrunchies. Our small scrunchies range from 3.25″ to 4″. Our regular scrunchies range in diameter from 4.25″ to 5″, and our large scrunchies range in diameter from 5.25″ up to 6.5″.

Our scrunchies are handmade in Nova Scotia. As with all premium, handmade products there will be slight variances in size. The size can be affected by the fabric used, the sewing method, and a number of other variables.

Returns & Exchanges

If we determine your order should be returned, you are responsible for return shipping costs and we ask that you use a trackable shipping method. For a single scrunchie, return shipping can be handled affordably using Canada Post registered letter mail and a bubble envelope.

Due to the nature of our products we are unable to offer refunds.

We want you to be happy. Every order is individually packaged, quality checked, photographed, and shipped with the utmost care.

We are committed to producing and selling a premium product. If you receive a defective product, contact us as soon as you receive the order. In certain other situations, we can make special arrangements.

If you are unhappy contact us. We will do our best to make it right.

Shipping & Tracking

The transit time will vary based on the shipping partner and shipping product you choose during checkout.

We offer Canada Post, Fedex, and UPS shipping with several different service standards.

If you select a trackable shipping method, the carrier will provide service standard information as part of the tracking information.

We ship all in-stock products within one business day of receiving the order.

Due to COVID-19 there are occasionally delays picking up the orders which can add a day or two additional processing time to your order.

We ship to Canada. We do not ship outside of Canada.

Anywhere in Canada from Dawson City, Yukon to St. John’s, Newfoundland & Labrador to Squamish, British Columbia and everywhere in between.

We offer a free, no tracking shipping option via Canada Post. You will not receive a tracking number of you choose free shipping unless otherwise noted. All other shipping methods include tracking numbers.

Once your order is shipped, if it is trackable, we will send you a tracking number by email. If you do not receive it please check your junk/spam folder.
